About full-flake floors
The flake (also called chips or vinyl color chips) is what gives a coated floor its finished, high-end look — and it does real work beyond appearance. Broadcast to full refusal (meaning the floor is completely covered), flake adds texture and grip, hides minor slab imperfections, and lets you match the floor to your home. We broadcast flake to full coverage, scrape back the excess, and lock it in under a UV-stable topcoat. Partial or 'light' flake broadcasts save the installer material but leave a thinner, less durable, less attractive floor.

What's the difference between full-flake and partial flake?+
Full-flake means chips are broadcast until the floor won't take any more, then the excess is scraped off — total coverage. Partial flake leaves gaps of exposed base coat. Full coverage looks better, adds more grip, and puts more coating on your slab.

Does the flake come loose?+
